What is clean beauty and why are clean beauty products so important? The clean beauty movement embraces natural ingredients, putting the focus on safety. Not all “natural” ingredients are safe (i.e. lead or poison ivy) and not all synthetic ingredients are unsafe necessarily. Most safer beauty products avoid the use of ingredients like parabens, sulfates, silicones, phthalates and synthetic fragrances while still delivering results. I am all for finding clean ingredient for my face and body!
And you see, here are so many products sitting on shelves in the stores you shop at and you assume they are safe because they are on the shelves. Right?! No! The companies are hoping you are not reading their labels and asking questions. Because they aren't using the best ingredients. They are adding talc, bismuth, sodium Laureth sulfate, 1, 4-Dioxane, Bisphenol A (BPA), Isobutylparaben etc. Shall I continue? These and many more ingredients, you do not want your products to contain. You can take a peek at my list of 10 ingredients to avoid.
Here is a list of my favorite liquid foundation, liquid concealer, mineral foundation, exfoliator mask and balm cream for the face.

- Active Enzyme Exfoliator and Vital Balm Cream by Josh Rosebrook
When I stumble upon this clean beauty company I was so excited. They are organic, made in the USA, and no animal testing. Some products are vegan. Some contain honey. they are very transparent with their ingredients list. You can see it on their website all the individual ingredients they use. The exfoliator was soft and not coarse on my face. I sometimes avoid exfoliator in fear that it hurt my face instead of help. I left it on for about 15 minutes. The balm cream was so soothing to the face after I use the exfoliating mask.
