Wasteful or Convenient?

7 Comments Wordless Wednesday Pin It

Wordless Wednesday, a simple post which features a photo to convey a message that speaks for itself without using words; well not a lot of words!

Do you think this is wasteful or convenient? Isn’t it easier to just open a bottle of oil and pour; instead of opening a plastic container, and attempting to open the smallest package ever without getting oil everywhere?

From what I can see in the picture. I would say wasteful. I get the connivence factor that has been created for all of us. I also get that we can recreate it for ourselves. Cutting down plastic is hard but it can be done. Once you start creating new habits they things dont seem to take as long as before and its healthier for us and the environment.

I would agree this is just plain wasteful. The only time I can see this being a convenience is when wanting to pack it for a meal out, but then you could use a container you already have. If you have pill bottles from a prescription you have to take (I have one) you could even use that after it’s been washed out.

Definitely wasteful. And not environmentally friendly packaging at all.

Definitely more convenient to pour from a bottle. I usually get little packets all over me. Plus, how wasteful to have individual packets.

Wasteful. Not to mention it is perpetuating our society’s tendency to be lazy. :p

Wasteful! We have eliminated so much plastic in our life! We buy anything we can in glass and re -reuse our plastic produce bags!
