Almond Bliss Smoothie

33 Comments Eat Healthier, Recipes, Smoothies and Juices Pin It

Almonds are one of my favorite nuts and I try to make an effort to consume them daily either solo or in a smoothie or in a nut dip. I am always experimenting with different nuts and flavors when it comes to smoothies, and I think I found a winner with this combination.

What do you think? Are you going to give it a try?

Enjoy this almond bliss in a glass!

I will try it maybe tomorrow but may make a change. I will probably use almond butter and milk instead of almond milk. Thanks for the recipe :)

Another smoothie recipe to add to my list! Anything with flax, banana and almond gets bumped to the top to try.

I was thinking of trying this with something like brazil nuts. Can I soak the brazil nuts overnight and then add them and 1 1/2 cups water to my food processor with the other ingredients you mentioned? Maybe cashews would work too? I have been trying to think of a way to have a high protein breakfast to switch up things a bit from eggs. :) I also have a new food processor that I don’t know how to use. Thanks!

Gorgeous photo! I will have to try the recipe. Though I have never used actual almonds in a smoothie before (only almond milk). Can I run them ok through the blender?
